11 February 2012. We have now decided which breeder we are taking Aimee to in March/April. We are going to visit Kazizkatz, where Aimee will see one of Karel's stud boys, Anoki. If all goes well, we will also take Matilda to this cattery in around July time.
20 January 2012 Harriet went to her new home last weekend. We miss her, but we had been looking for a home for her for a while, and know she will be very happy with her new owners.
28 November 2011 I've been making enquiries with a number of breeders re stud services for the girls next year. I have chatted to a few, and still am undecided as to where to go. There are a lot of things to take into consideration, so its not always a straightforward decision. Whatever we decide, if we end up having kittens as lovely as the ones Aimee and Hawk had earlier this year, I'll be happy.
31 October 2011 The cats are now all together. Initially there was a fair amount of hissing and growling, but I'm pleased to say, they are all fine now. Harriet and Matilda are already inseparable, and Aimee seems to look on Matilda as one of her own kittens. Sarah seems pretty indifferent about it all.... Happy Families :-)
15 October 2011 Aimee became Champion Melisani Aimee today after winning her third Challenge Certificate in three shows! Yay!!
07 October 2011 Matilda is here! She is lovely as we expected, and she's settling in well. At the moment, she is separate from the other cats, but I can't wait for her to meet Harriet, they're both little monkeys and I imagine they will cause havoc!
25 September 2011 We are excited to say we have a new kitten joining us on 07 October. She is called Matilda, and she is from Crystalpaws Abyssinians (see links page). She looks beautiful and we are really looking forward to her arriving, particularly as our kittens will be going to their new homes this weekend.
25 June 2011 Aimee had her kittens this afternoon - 5 little babies. 3 usuals and 2 sorrels. More information and pictures to follow! So happy it all went OK :-)) For up-to-date information on how the kittens are doing, please see the 'Our Aby Kittens' and 'Kitten Diary' pages.
23 June 2011 Not long to go now. Aimee's kittens are due any day now...
04 June 2011 MARAFIKI is now GCCF registered! Got the notification this morning. This means any kittens we have will be able to have MARAFIKI as their prefix. The whole registration process really does take time, so I am very pleased that it is all complete before any kittens come. Yay!!
22 May 2011 Aimee is getting bigger, and we are looking forward to her having kittens in around a months time. We are already having enquiries, so if you were hoping to get your own Aby kitten then please get in touch. We have made her a bed that she will hopefully want to have her kittens in. We are also looking out for a pen so we can keep Aimee and her kits safely contained together when the time comes.
10 May 2011 We are pretty sure that Aimee is pregnant! This means we should be expecting little Marafiki kittens around the end of June this year. The best news!!

27 April 2011 Picked up Aimee today from her stay with Hawk at Silversmoke Abyssinians. They enjoyed each others company for a week, so we are hoping she may be pregnant. Looking forward to finding out in a few weeks!
19 April 2011 Aimee has gone to visit Champion Makeitso Hawkeye Pierce (Hawk) at Silversmoke Abyssinians. She will be staying there for just over a week. Fingers crossed that they get on...
17 April 2011 Yay! Aimee is calling. We are making arrangements for her to visit a stud in the next couple of days.
09 April 2011 Took Aimee to the GCCF East Sussex Cat Show, in Maidstone(!) She had a fantastic day, and got her second CC and BoB! See 'Showing' page for further details.
